About Coach

I have been an athlete all my life and I am a PSP3 alumni, in fact one of the first PSP3 athletes. I attended Blue Valley West High School where I played volleyball, winning the state championship my junior year and being runner up my senior year. After my club volleyball and high school career I played 4 seasons at Arkansas State University where I also got my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. After finishing up my college career in November of 2020 I came back home to Overland Park and worked as a personal trainer for all ages prior to starting at PSP3. In my free time I love to read a good book or spend time outdoors

Turning Point

I originally wanted to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Halfway through college I realized PT was not as fast paced of a job as I was looking for. I realized how in love I was with training in the weight room and my parents always said, “If you love what you do you won’t work a day in your life.” Following this advice I decided to pursue a career in Strength and Conditioning coaching.

Motivation & Passion

For a long time, my passion was volleyball. Now that my competitive volleyball career is over, my passion is to help people better themselves. I want to give other athletes a leg up and a love for exercise, just like I was given by PSP3. Sports performance training helped me achieve my athletic dreams and continue to stay in shape following my career. This is what I want other athletes to have.
